More great work from Boston
Nigel, I had the pleasure of hearing your CIO Bill Oates speak yesterday on a panel in NYC, and he talked quite a lot about New Urban Mechanics and your plan for Citizens Connect. It's great to hear that this will be rolled out in 35 cities and towns across Mass.

One interesting thing he said about New Urban Mechanics is that it's a place within the government to take risks (whereas the traditional IT department would need to be more careful and calculated with its risks). How great to have that opportunity within your government, and how great to hear that other cities like Philadelphia are learning from you and starting to do the same.
