I am an architecture graduate from the University of Liverpool UK. I was awarded the universities first Sustainability Prize for my final year thesis on green schools design and have a passionate interest in greening our cities through natural infrastructure nertworks.
I am also interested in how businesses can become more sustainable through behaviour change and how government can help stimulate this change through policy and pro sustainability agendas.
I am hoping to study a Masters in Sustainable Development at UWE Bristol university in September 2013 and have begun a blog called urbanecological.blogspot.com that aims to provoke debate about how urban environments can become more sustainable and healthy.
I have been a conservation volunteer for the National Trust in the UK for ten years being involved with stakeholder groups regarding climate change in sensitive coastal locations such as the EU protected Sefton Coastline near Liverpool.
