I am an Environmental Consultant with an architecture background. I was awarded the University of Liverpool's first Sustainability Prize for my final year thesis on green schools design in 2008. I have a passionate interest in greening our environments and conserving both urban and rural biodiversity.

I am also interested in how businesses and organisations can become more sustainable through behaviour change and green initiatives.

I am about to begin a Masters in Sustainable Development.

I have been a conservation volunteer for the National Trust in the UK for ten years being involved with stakeholder groups regarding climate change in sensitive coastal locations such as the EU protected Sefton Coastline near Liverpool.

I think the best way to promote change is to show people the beauty of natural environments so that they can tehmselves become advcates for change.
