During Huawei Connect 2023, with the theme of "ICT Operations Facilitates Digital Intelligence Transformation", industrial customers, partners, organizations and analysts around the world get together in Shanghai, China, sharing the successful practices and valuable experience of O&M during the digital intelligence transformation of the industry, discussing and looking forward to new technologies, models, and directions for future-oriented digital Intelligence operation.

Lucas Lu, President, Assurance & Managed Services Dept, Huawei

Lucas Lu, President, Assurance & Managed Services Dept, Huawei, delivered a speech at the meeting. Lucas said that the "digital transformation" process has shifted from informatization, digitalization, to deeper intelligence. ICT infrastructure is gradually evolving to a production support system, decision support systems or even core production systems in various industries. Under this background, O&M faces three challenges: 1. After the system is hierarchical decoupled, the explosive growth of O&M objects brings challenges of efficiency and cost. 2. The introduction of new technologies and platforms brings challenges to O&M organization capability building and process reconstruction. 3. Challenges of managing and analyzing business data to support scenario-based business value release.

Lucas said that Huawei's ICT O&M and operation support services will continue to focus on the following three topics to facilitate the digital intelligence transformation and accelerate the realization of transformation value: 1. Summarize successful experience, accumulate assets, and build an open and intelligent digital O&M platform and service. 2. Adhering to the concept of "openness, cooperation, and win-win", we will continuously develop and enable partners, and optimize the collaboration mechanism. 3. Actively participate in the definition of industry standards and work with all sectors of the industry to promote innovation and development in the industry.

Chris Barnard Vice President, European Telecoms and Infrastructure, IDC

Industry O&M is facing challenges brought by technology evolution. In new era of digital intelligence, O&M have its own new direction. Chris Barnard, vice president of IDC Europe telecom and infrastructure industry, said at the conference that ICT infrastructure is the foundation for enterprise digital transformation, and O&M management services are an essential part of this foundation. As digital transformation continues developing, it will become more and more important. The advanced O&M and operation platform will play an important role in improving the automation level and efficiency of O&M and operation management.

Huang Jun, director of Huawei Enterprise CS & Industry O&M Business Dept, as the three trends of industry digital intelligence transformation: cloud-network synergy, cloud + AI technology integration, and computing + network integration. Based on Huawei's exploration and practice, Huangjun proposed that four key conditions must be met for successful digital intelligence transformation: 1. Build a digital intelligence business enablement platform, 2. Transform organizations and clarify job responsibilities, 3. Connect organizations and people through processes, and transfer offline processes to online processes for continuous enrichment and improvement to drive business improvement and model innovation, 4. Need a solid theoretical foundation, gradually improve the operation management system, and provide a methodological basis for refined management of enterprises.

Zhao Haichen, Director, Social Governance Modernization Command Center of Suzhou Industrial Park, shared the digital intelligence transformation practice of the Intelligent Operation Center (IOC) around the theme of " Empowering public management through Digital Brains". IOC focuses on public management. Huawei has built three digital public management tools: a visualized decision-making system, an end-to-end supervision and command system, and a comprehensive public management analysis system to comprehensively support the construction of a unified network in the campus. In addition, through actual cases, Huawei shared the value that O&M assurance and support bring to the IOC.

O&M is a very important part of the industry's digital intelligence transformation. Xiao Jianlong, CTO of Shanghai Science & Technology Network Communications Co., Ltd. (Shanghai Science & Technology Network for short), delivered a speech which is "Optimizing Digital Intelligence Operations with Industry Best Practices". After years of development, Shanghai Science &Technology Network has digitalized the O&M processes. The entire O&M process can be traced, and O&M quality can be continuously optimized. Big data analysis helps clarify O&M capability bottlenecks and continuously optimize O&M processes. At the meeting, Xiao Jianlong shared an all-round practical plan for enterprise digital intelligence transformation from the aspects of forward-looking business development, supply security, data center security, and unified O&M platform capability construction based on the actual business situation of Shanghai Science and Technology Network. Xiao Jianlong emphasized that "people are the first productivity" in cloud platform O&M.

Sun Hongliang, Co-President of Key Account Business Group of iSoftStone Information Technology (Group) Co., Ltd., presented the theme of “Platform Enablement and Advantage Complementation Facilitates Digital Intelligence Transformation.” Mr. Sun shared the digital intelligence transformation practice of building differentiated competitiveness and complementing Huawei's advantages based on IMOC unified O&M platform. Huawei Unified O&M Platform (IMOC) integrates Huawei's 30-year experience in O&M of large-scale multi-cloud and multi-DCs. It relies on core capabilities of unified collection, process service, full-stack monitoring, data analysis, automation control to help customers quickly complete digital, automated, and intelligent transformation. To improve data analysis capabilities, iSoftStone developed A-DATA data analysis solution beyond IMOC, which does not require modeling. It directly implements modularization of data processing, business to data, data to decision-making, decision-making to display, and multi-end operation, multi-screen display.

ICT Service Partner - Preferred Partner Awarding Ceremony

At the meeting, Huawei awarded licenses to four preferred ICT service partners in the industry O&M and IMOC joint O&M sub-scenario. They are iSoftStone Information Technology (Group) Co., Ltd., Chinasoft International Technology Service Co., Ltd., Shenzhou Xinchuang (Xiamen) Research Institute Co., Ltd., and Hangzhou Zhonggang Technology Co., Ltd. They have rich experience in the industry O&M field, actively explored in different industries, and have many successful practices. In addition, Huawei actively developed and promoted the joint O&M service solution, improved the competitiveness of the solution, and made outstanding contributions to the evolution of intelligent O&M in the industry. Huawei hopes to continue to work with partners to share benefits and seek common development, provide customers with high-quality and reliable services, and help customers successfully achieve digital intelligence transformation.

Digital intelligence transformation in the industry is a long way to go. Huawei will continue to innovate in the ICT O&M and operation support services, create value for customers, enable partners and build core competitiveness with a customer-centric way.
