Blulock Deploys Xsigo

SAN JOSE, Calif. -- Xsigo Systems, Inc., the leader in I/O virtualization, today announced that Bluelock, an experienced provider of Virtual Datacenters hosted in the public cloud, has deployed Xsigo virtual I/O in their VMware vCloud services data center. As a result, Bluelock has boosted scalability with 8X greater virtual machine capacity, and reduced infrastructure hardware requirements by 80%, resulting in enhanced service levels, faster response time, and greater overall economies.

After implementing Xsigo virtual I/O to consolidate their infrastructure, Bluelock was able to dynamically manage capacity to accommodate workloads for even their largest clients like LAMCO (formerly Lehman Brothers) and Consona Corporation.

Branham continued, "With our previous infrastructure, we needed 50 networking devices for every 500 virtual machines. With Xsigo, we can accommodate 8x the workload with just 10 network devices. Furthermore, we get 40X more bandwidth to each server and can now make configuration changes in seconds rather than hours or days."
